Escatawpa Hollow Park & Campground is a Mobile County Park not a State Park. The campground area opened in 2023 and is beautiful. The campground has cement pads with full hookups, large bathhouse, laundry facility, camp store, and beach area. The park isn’t complete yet. They are still adding features like multiple trails (currently there are trails but they are adding more) and restaurant. The people who work at the park are absolutely the best….
Best of all it’s located within 10 minutes of Robert & Glenda’s house.
The only downside of the park is its next highway 98 and a bridge. Lots of semi’s pass by and periodically you can hear them. Fortunately, with a fan on at night the noise is drowned out.
We visited the last week of March and the weather was absolutely perfect. Not too warm or cold.
The campground requires 1 day stay payment and the rest upon arrival.
