We are at Deer Park Campground which is a private campground off Interstate 25 and 90. It’s located just east of Bighorn National Forest. For the adventuresome, you can drive through Bighorn National Forest to get to Yellowstone. Though the mountains and road closures could be an issue. I am not the adventurous person when it comes to pulling our 5th wheel. So, we are taking the longer less scenic route.

The longer route entails driving to Billings, Montana on Interstate 90 north. Interstate 90 then turns west towards Yellowstone. From I90, we will take highway 89 to Gardiner, Montana and enter the Yellowstone through the North Entrance.

In preparation for the trip, I’m using my Sony video camera that I bought around 13 years ago and took a video of the park.
