John and I have been very fortunate to have wonderful Moms. They took care of us through thick and thin. They always loved us, even when we were being naughty, cranky and annoying.
This is our way of thanking and remembering our Mom’s for everything they have done for us over the years
John’s Mom was a great mom to her kids and the many 4-legged fur babies. She was known for doctoring the fur babies and bringing them back to life.
John and I loved going on family trips with our parents. We have so many fond memories, and we wanted to share a few videos we found on our older video recorder.
With my Mom and Step Dad, we went to Ringing Rocks Park and made “great” music.
I absolutely love road trips. For those of you who have never experience a Katie Family Road trip, the video below is a great example of my version of a fun filled family road trip. I’m very appreciative to have a Mom who loves going on trips with me.
We went on road trips with John’s Mom too. Though John and his Mom started adding clauses like only so many pictures per day, 2 unplanned stops, etc. I think this only came about because they fell asleep and woke up at the Sun-Made Raisin Plant with the world’s largest raisin box. Or maybe it was the 1st and 2nd largest Prairie Dog statue or the World’s Largest Jackalope …
With my Mom, we went to the New York City 911 Memorial one year.
We went on cruises with both John’s Mom and my Mom. Below is a message from my Mom to all of us. The recording was taken from her cruise ship cabin.
Unfortunately, I don’t have video of John’s Mom on a cruise ship. I do have a picture of a dolphin kissing her. John’s Mom loved all animals – 4 legged, 2 legged, or no legged. Well, maybe not all “no legged” animals, like snakes.

A final quote of the day, “A mother’s love is more beautiful than any fresh flowers” written by Debashish Mridha. I so agree with this quote.

Lots of Love to our Moms!!
