… even the pot holes. On Sunday, we crossed into Texas traveling to Tyler State Park. We thought we made a wrong turn; the Grand Canyon is not in Texas. We asked a local, and they told us, “That is a pot hole. A small one.”

Even the shopping carts are large. You can see that the Wal-Mart carts are almost as tall as Kate.

We asked a local about the shopping carts, and they said, “That is just a baby. The adults are the size of a car.”

The Wal-Mart carts are also pretty decked out. This one came with a cell phone holder on the left and a drink holder on the right. Maybe the next model will have leather seats.

When Kate called the Tyler State Park, she said “This is our first time going to Texas. Is there anything we should know?” The lady told her, “Yes, everything is bigger in Texas.” It turns out she was right.
