We were traveling from Poverty Point State Park in Louisiana to Bogue Chitto State Park in Louisiana. We focus on taking interstate routes which ensure no issues with underpass heights being too low since our trailer height is 13 1/2 feet. To stay on the interstate, we traveled through Mississippi and went over the Mississippi River.

The city of Vicksburg, Mississippi has a beautiful rest area right off the river. My favorite view was of the car and railroad bridges. All metal and beauty vs. cement.
