- (2.0 miles) Left onto OH-58 South, exiting the park
- (13.8 miles) Right onto OH-58 South at intersection with 500 and OH-89
- (21.0 miles) Right on US-250 East just past overpass
- (22.4 miles) Right onto US-250 East / US-42 South toward I-71 / Wooster
- (23.4 miles) Left onto US-250 East / East Main Street toward I-71 / Wooster
- (24.9 miles) Right onto I-71 South towards Columbia
- (92.0 miles) Take Exit 119B, on right, to I-270 West to go around Columbus
- (109 miles) Take Exit 8, on right, to I-70 West toward Columbus / Dayton. NOTE: Indiana interstates are in terrible condition, drive slower than normal.
- (235 miles) Take exit 123, on right, to IN-3 North towards Spiceland / New Castle
- (235 miles) Left onto IN-3 North towards New Castle
- (246 miles) Take exit, on right, onto US-36 East towards Lynn / Mt Summit
- (250 miles) Left onto N. Messick Rd
- (251 miles) Left onto Park road, after office, to reach campgrounds

General Notes
- Updated 7/9/2026 – You could take 58 to 98 to I-71. This is not recommended. The road isn’t that great and has an extra, in really bad condition, railroad track to cross. This route above is the best route.
- Ohio highways typically don’t have a place to pull off on.
- Indiana roads both interstate and highways are HORRIBLE. Many cracks and potholes. Plan to drive slow and wonder how your tires survived the trip.
- Since Indiana roads are sooo bad…. Carefully open trailer, refrigerator, cabinets, etc. since stuff will fall out and be out of place.
- Railroad tracks in Indiana are also horrific. If two lane road, take the tracks on the left lane not right. Usually these are better. Still bad but not as horrific.
