We stopped at Kate’s dad’s house to visit and look at his computer. Windows 10 support was ending, and his internet service was saying he was going to need a PIN to get to his email. After looking into it, we found out that his computer had the operating system upgraded twice, and it was more than the computer could handle. After John talked to him about computers, he agreed to upgrade his computer just to get John to stop talking about computers, so John collected some information about his current computer to do some research.
Bob also has bird feeders of various types in the front and back. There were various finches, sparrow-ish birds, and humming birds. John tried to get some pictures, but most of the bird would not sit still or bother to show up when the camera was out. He did get a decent picture of a gold finch.

He looks cold, but it was fairly warm that day. John also got pictures of what he thought was a sparrow.

After doing an agonizing amount of research into sparrows, he determined that it is probably a female or immature House Finch. Womp. Womp.
