The Korean War Memorial has a quiet pool in front of the mural and a flag. The back of the picture has a Wall of Remembrance to honor those who lost their lives in the war.

To the side of the memorial was “battle clad statues” emerging from the trees. They crossed rice patty fields represented by the juniper bushes and granite strips. The strips draw the attention to the mural wall that shows the faces of people who supported the ground troops.
