The front desk warned of bike theft problems.
There are long term residents, but we had no issues. The long term residents are further back in the park, and the RVs are in better conditions than some other places.
There is space-ish for the RV at the front, but you partly block the entrance.
Some of the roads are on the narrow side.
Block A had large trees that are now gone. The small trees are not trimmed back enough to keep them from brushing the RV.
You do not get to pick your site. They act like A7 is acceptable for large RVs, but it is not.

Technically, there is a state museum and some parks around there, except they charge for everything, including parking. It is not worth it. Just stop for a day or two and move on.
Park Overview
Park is reasonably well maintained, but trees at the sites are small and not trimmed adequately to prevent brushing the RV.
When you reserve, you do not get to pick a site.
Park is located between Lexington and Columbia, and it is close to both.
Park has on-site laundry facilities in both bath houses
Duck/Coy pond on site
Front office doubles as a camp store
No hiking or biking trails on the park.
The weekend has a farmers/flea market next door. It can be a bit loud.
No pictures were taken of the overall park at this visit.
Short Term Campground Block
This is specifically for the seven short term premium RV spots referred to as Block A by the park. The Block B and Block C sites are closer to 65 ft, which is a bit short of our 75 ft requirement. There appeared to be a significant number of seasonal or residential sites further back in the park.
Never used the dump station. Appear to be enough room, if not a convenient location.
Water pressure and quality seemed acceptable.
Bath house in the back of the office has men’s and women’s restrooms that include shower stalls.
Bath house by the duck pond has three individual combined shower and restroom with an exterior door for each.

Shower house across from the pond has individual exterior door shower / restroom.
Office shower house is a gender divided bathroom with stalls for shower and restroom.
Dump station is at the front, but Block A is full hookups.
Block A is mostly dirt, so it becomes a mud pit in the rain.
Not all Block A sites are clear overhead.
Site A7 appears to be a leftover, it is not a full site and you have to be against a tree to be in the site.
Starlink speed was sub-par. This might be that we are closer to the east coast or just whatever upgrades were going on.

The flea market can be loud on weekends
Some people are rude and play loud music in their cars driving by
Section A does not have a lot of grass, so it gets muddy in the rain.
The concrete picnic table pad is 3-5 inches tall and close to the path of exiting
There is an inconvenient small tree near the exit, but it is avoidable.

Avoid this site. Specifically request to not have it, unless you have a smaller travel trailer. The turn at the end is sharp, and dumpsters might be in the way. You way have to back out or drive through the dirt.
Section A does not have a lot of grass, so it gets muddy in the rain.
A tree would have brushed the side of the RV to fit in the site
The tree would have obstructed Starlink, which we were assured would not be an issue.
Driving out of the site required a 120 degree turn.
Alternate Sites
Avoid A7. A1 to A6 will function. A3 and A5 are probably the second best options.
