When leaving Stonelick State Park, the challenge is finding a path to I-71 that is acceptable. We drove multiple routes and decided the best option was going the same way we came in. The way we came in had no room to pull over and hills, so Mackie became car sick. The sick should no longer be an issue.
Driving Directions
- (0.0 miles) Exit the campground on Lake Drive
- (2.1 miles) Left on OH-727 towards Cincinnati. Multiple small hills back-to-back & no room to pull over.
- (5.0 miles) Right on OH-131 towards Williams Corner
- (7.5 miles) Right on OH-132 toward Goshen
- (11.6 miles) Left onto OH-28 West (NOT towards Blanchester)
- (17.6 miles) Right onto I-275 North
- (25.3 miles) Take exit 49 B, on right, to I-71 North towards Columbus
- (109.0 miles) Take exit 101, on right, to I-270 West which turns into North then East
- (134.0 miles) Take exit 26, on right, to I-71 North towards Cleaveland
- (203.0 miles) Take exit 186, on right, to US-250 towards Ashland / Wooster
- (203.0 miles) Left on US-250 West / E Main St, at light, towards Ashland
- (205.0 miles) Right onto US-42 N / US-250 W, at light, towards Norwalk
- (206.0 miles) Left on US-250 West towards Norwalk
- (207.0 miles) Left on OH-58 North (short access/exit road)
- (207.0 miles) Left on OH-58 North / Orange Rd, at stop sign, towards Wellington
- (217.0 miles) OH-58 N merges with OH-89 N between Nankin and Sullivan and crosses County Road 500 in a 5-way intersection. Stay on OH-58 N.

- (227.0 miles) Right into Findley State Park at sign
- (229.0 miles) Except for authorized vehicles only, continue keeping right until reaching the campground

General Notes
- Looking at a map and google maps, you should take Hwy 89 to Hwy 58. Hwy 89 is closed and being redone. Taking US-250 W, to US-42 N, to US-250W, to OH-58 N works equally well. It joins into OH-89 N south of Sullivan and has less railroad crossings. This is the route above.
