Clearly, it is the photographer!
This three month old donkey is named Dally. We were told who he was named after, but we do not remember. The donkey was rescued from people who were not caring for him. He was one of a pair of twins, but the other twin did not make it. He is starting to ween, but he still has to be bottle fed. He spent the day at the park, but went home at night. He also has a Facebook page.
As it turns out, the actual name for the animal is “ass”. The use of donkey came around in the 1700s to prevent confusion between a person’s buttock (arse) and the animal (ass). It derives from the Latin word “asinus”, which is the name for the animal. In Italian, the animal is “asino”.
And, of course, Kate wants a donkey. Please, tell her that it will not fit in the RV.
