Some people might interpret that as “Fall in a Vat of Cheese/Beer 2024”. Maybe “Autumn in Wisconsin 2024” would have been a better title. Oh, well. This is a whirlwind review of our stay in Wisconsin.
John helped some strange old guy install his concrete steps.
Caulking and painting the sunny side of some strange lady’s house.
We stayed in luxury two story accommodations for two weeks. They were two story, if you are less than three feet tall. We had to stay in the Pineview Campground destination lodge #4 while our RV roof was replaced by Camping World because a branch fell on it earlier in the year.
Camping World was not the worst, but I would not recommend them for RV repairs. Below are the before, during, and after pictures. We specifically told them to not take the back wall off. You might notice something missing in the middle picture. Want to guess what it is?
We biked the trail from Sparta to Rockland.
And movie night! Did you know that there are deadly unexplored avocado jungles in California that are vital to the national economy?
MacKie competed against Cleo in the 2024 Cat-naplympics. Mackie won the gold medal.
John rescued a stray cardboard box and took it in to be neutered. If you do not properly manage them, the population of feral cardboard boxes can get out of control.
And, we shipwrecked our island on the way out of Wisconsin.
Lots of time with the family between driving to Brenda’s house, flower shopping, family meals, eating out, enjoying the beautiful countryside, etc.
