Yellowstone National Park Day 1

Fishing Bridge RV Park, Wyoming, May 2025

Picture taken at 6:41 pm.

We started off the day at 60 degrees and overcast. Ended the day at 33 degrees and snow!! Big, beautiful flakes.

Needless to say, normally day 1 is a picture of our camper. I’m a wuss and it’s warm and dry.

John on the other hand spent a fair amount of time in the rain (before it became snow) setting up. We did wait for a break in the rain. After about 15 minutes, rain started up, turned in sleet and then snow.

The best part is 5he snow is beautiful backdrop on the pine trees.

I’ll take another picture later tonight and tomorrow. This way you can compare.

9 pm update

Light snow. 33 degrees out but suppose to get down to around 25 F tonight. Starting to accumulate.

One response to “Yellowstone National Park Day 1”

  1. Beautyfull pine trees everywhere. Ask John what kinda tree they are, he probably knows. Snow is not welcome in my life in the month of May.
