Thunder Cats

Custer State Park, WY, July 2025

We have been very fortunately this year to with very few thunderstorms. In Yellowstone, we had more snow than rain. We did have a little rain in 7th Ranch Campground in Wyoming but nothing of major note.

That all ended in Custer State Park. We had a thunder and hours of rain.

One really loud boom of thunder petrified Cleo. Cheo flew off the chair under the table. Then, she ran for John’s office. She was hiding under the chair that is under the table.

On the other hand, Mackie at most picked up his head and slept through it. The good thing about being a geriatric kitty is hard of hearing and ability to sleep through anything.
