Park Information:

• Site 103 is in the Sunflower Campground which is the first campground in the park.
• Bluebird hiking trail along the water.
• Max stay in the same spot and loop is 14 days. You can switch to another loop and stay another 14 days.
• The park is looking to increase the fees in 2027. The state congress has approved fee increased but have added a max increase per year. The new 2027 fees have not been published.

Phone / Internet service

• Starlink service was great. Download >100, Upload >50 and Latency 20 ms
• Hotspot had 4 bars.
• Kate’s phone had 4 bars LTE. Speed test – Download 40, upload 40 and latency 45 ms.

Site Information

• Full hookup
• Site 103 is close and heated!!
• Very large site cement pad that is good condition.
• Pad is slightly downhill where the trailer hitches to the truck. This means the trailer is more stable.
• Double wide. Cars can be parked side by side with plenty of room between them
• Extra-long so that the bug tent which is around 10 feet x 10 feet square fits behind the cars for tricker treating
• Extra-large area for outdoor lounging that has enough room for the picnic table, bug tent and fire pit.
• Downside is the septic has a metal lid over the septic connection. The connection is set deep in the ground. This makes connecting difficult.
• Plenty of space between sites
• We heard barred owls in the trees. Unfortunately, we did not see the owls.
