The first blog was about the Smithsonian Castle itself. This blog is focused on the 250th Anniversary Celebration Exhibit. What I found very interesting was that most of the exhibit were originals not reproductions. For example, the declaration of independence was not a replica. Because the items were the real thing, lighting was not great in the exhibit room. Almost all the windows within the room were covered. The only light was what was used within the exhibit. Needless to say, some of the pictures did not turn out great due to the low lighting or glare from the false lights used to illuminate the exhibit.
