With trailer life figuring out the best option for a Christmas tree can be challenging. John and I are always looking for something that takes up minimal space and if possible multi-functional.
This year we decided on a Christmas tree cat bed (Last year, John made me a cardboard Christmas tree). We were hoping to get one similar to the Santa hat cat bed that Mackie absolutely loves.
This year Walmart had a Christmas tree, but it was had a smaller base than the Santa hat cat bed. We still bought hoping the tree would work for the cats.
We first placed the tree on the floor.

The final location was the counter by the pantry. Cleo sniffed, walk into the bed and determined the tree was too small for her.

In the end, Cleo decided sitting next to the tree was the optimal resting area.

Mackie does fit as long as at one least part hangs out. It is really fun watching him wiggle his way into the tree and out.

John plans on modifying the bottom of the tree by adding a stump that hopefully Mackie will fit in better. We have already purchased the materials and barrowed John’s aunt sowing machine.
